Have you been making movies in your back yard? Is your dream to be up there on stage, thanking your mom as you accept your Best Director Oscar someday?
Whether you are in kindergarten, 10th grade or college, or you're just a regular old member of the Bloomington-Normal community, if you make movies, there is a film fest for you. The B-N Film Fest, which will take place May 15, 2012, is accepting submissions.
They're looking for short films, either narrative or documentary, live action or animated in 3D, 2D or stop motion, which pretty much leaves the field wide open for creative filmmakers. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2012.
For more information, you are invited to call Phil Vandiver at Heartland Community College at 309-268-8854. Updates should be showing up on the B-N Film Fest webpage as we get closer to the deadline.
